The bonus bets are where the 94% to 96% band comes from. A bonus bet pays a fixed multiplier when the segment lands, and then the bonus round pays an additional amount that varies. The overall return is the base payout plus the expected bonus value, and the expected bonus value is what the provider tunes to land the total in the published band.

Take Cash Hunt. The base payout is 21 to 1 including stake, so 22 units returned on a win, and the segment probability is 2/54 = 0.037037.

  • Base expected return: 0.037037 × 22 = 0.814815.
  • To reach a total RTP of 95%, the bonus round must contribute 0.95 − 0.814815 = 0.135185 per unit staked.

That 3.65 is the figure the provider is targeting inside the Cash Hunt round.
