How this site is paid
Through affiliate commission. Where a link to an operator earns money, the page carrying it says so before the link, not in a line at the bottom nobody reads. The commission does not change what you pay and it does not change the order of a list: the order comes from the figures printed next to each entry, and an operator that pays well and measures badly is published as measuring badly. A site that ranked on commission would be easy to write and worth nothing to read.
How the figures are produced
A house edge follows from the payout table and the number of outcomes, and is derived on the page that uses it. A bonus value follows from the wagering multiple, the game weighting and the edge of the game used to clear it, and the working is shown. Withdrawal times are recorded with the date they were checked, because a figure with no date is a figure that was true once. Where a rule varies between tables or jurisdictions — deck count, single or double zero, which games clear a bonus — the page states the variant it priced instead of averaging them into a number that describes nowhere.
Where the numbers stop
Mathematics describes the long run, and one evening is not the long run. Nothing here predicts what will happen to you, because nothing can. The most a calculation can say is what a game costs on average and how widely results scatter around that average — which is genuinely useful, and is also where honest writing about this subject stops.
Age and jurisdiction
